FURNITURE DESIGN
I am a furniture designer and business enthusiast driven by the desire to craft unique pieces that reflect the diverse personalities of those who use them. As an artist with a growing passion for business, I’m attempting to be a creative entrepreneur focused on bringing imagination to every design and create beautiful spaces.
In Kenya, where design studios are scarce and furniture often fails to resonate with me, I decided to embark on this journey. I’ve embraced woodwork and built upon my skills in animation and modeling to create furniture that’s not only functional but also inspired by creativity and individuality. A

EVERFLOW I
With a deep appreciation for order and neatness, I’m naturally drawn to creating ideas and spaces that embody both. In designing this concept, I thoughtfully used shapes that gently guide the eye back to the focal point—the TV area—ensuring visual harmony throughout the space. A strong sense of symmetry was central to this design, and it continues to influence all of my work
KIKABONI 1
In creating the brand Samani Hisia, my vision was to imagine and bring to life two distinct furniture lines. One of these is inspired by organic forms—soft, fluid shapes designed to connect with a more free-flowing, expressive personality. Kikaboni 1 began as an exploration in pure wood, but through thoughtful feedback and refinement, metal emerged as the ideal choice, offering both visual strength and economic practicality.

The first furniture piece I chose to explore was the living room shelf—a design that beautifully balances strength with creative expression. This sparked the idea of developing visual patterns, both organic and structured, that could reflect and enhance the buyer’s personality and personal style. Kikaboni 6 was created with this vision in mind, rooted in organic shapes and flowing patterns that bring character and movement to the space

In addition to TV Stands and side stands, I have a penchant for shelves. This was the first concept that made me think about using metal for the frames of the furniture line. Especially after visiting the carpenters on Ngong road
